At Gilding Your Visions, we treat your data with the same level of Structural Capacity as we do our life architecture. This protocol outlines how your information—your digital identity—is collected, stored, and protected within our Vault.

01. Who We Are

Our digital sanctuary is located at: https://gildingyourvisions.com. All records are managed by the Vision Architect.

02. Contributions to the Salon (Comments)

When you "Sign the Ledger" by leaving a comment on our site, we capture the data displayed in the comment form. To maintain the Structural Integrity of our Salon, we also collect your IP address and browser user agent string to facilitate automated spam detection.

An anonymized string (a "hash") created from your email address may be provided to the Gravatar service to verify your Identity Anchor. Their protocol is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. Once your contribution is approved, your profile picture becomes part of the public archive in the context of your comment.

03. Captured Coordinates (Media)

If you are a Curator or Master Architect uploading images to the Vault, we advise avoiding images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors to the public site may be able to extract these coordinates, distorting your personal sanctuary’s privacy.

04. Calibration Tokens (Cookies)

To ensure a high-velocity user experience, we utilize "Navigation Beacons" (Cookies):

Convenience: If you leave a comment, you may opt-in to saving your identity (name, email, website). These tokens last for one year, allowing you to bypass the calibration process next time.
Authentication: When you enter the Vault or Guild Hall, we set temporary tokens to determine if your hardware accepts cookies. These contain no personal data and expire when your browser session concludes.
The Build: Upon login, we install several tokens to save your access credentials and screen display preferences. Login tokens remain active for two days; screen options for one year. Selecting "Remember Me" extends your rank persistence to two weeks.
Architectural Edits: If you edit or publish an article as a contributor, a token indicating the Post ID will be saved for 24 hours.

05. External Blueprints (Embedded Content)

Articles in the Architect’s Journal may include embedded content (videos, images, articles). This external hardware behaves exactly as if you had visited the source site directly. These sites may collect data, utilize their own calibration tokens, and monitor your interaction with the build.

06. Transmission of Records

If you request a password reset for your Guild account, your IP address will be included in the authentication email to ensure Signal Clarity.

07. Archival Logs (Data Retention)

For those who contribute to our Salon, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely in our Archival Threads. This allows our systems to recognize and approve follow-up builds automatically.

For Strategists and Master Architects who register on our Ledger, we store the personal information provided in your User Profile. You maintain Command over your data and can see, edit, or delete your information at any time (with the exception of your Username, which acts as your permanent ID).

08. Your Architectural Command

If you have signed the Ledger or have an active account in the Vault, you may request an exported file of the personal data we hold. You may also command that we erase any personal data in our possession. This does not include any data we are required to retain for administrative, legal, or security-based Infrastructure Maintenance.
